The following is a collection of photographs of artwork completed by Lena Welker. There is an amazing level of subtle complexity in every square inch of surface. My challenge was to attempt to pull out as much detail I can and yet try to convey the energy that one experiences when present with the physical pieces. Translucency, texture, pattern, reflect light, and overall delicacy of each piece are important aspects that I tried to maintain.
